Living in a remote area in the Hopi Tribal community made accessing some resources challenging, but Twila discovered Raising Special Kids while taking a class on advocacy for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abWe have used many of the services to help us with our daughter: special education consultation, advocacy training, and guidance in locating resources, which can be difficult to find in rural areas like ours,\u00bb said Twila. \u00abWhen we received a diagnosis, all our expectations for the future were turned upside down.
