When Kathy\u2019s daughter, Allie, was four months old and in the hospital, Kathy was supported with a parent-to-parent connection. Kathy says she gained an understanding that she is not alone \u2013 others are going through similar challenges and finding encouragement and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Allie entered first grade, Kathy needed information, training and assistance to support her daughter\u2019s needs in special education. \u00abRaising Special Kids was a great resource in helping us get appropriate services in place at her school.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
