shifting it into block grants to states.&nbsp;<strong>Funding for Parent Centers like Encircle Families would no longer be guaranteed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHY DOES THIS MATTER?<\/strong><br>Because Parent Centers are&nbsp;independent&nbsp;of state education systems,&nbsp;<strong>families trust us<\/strong>&nbsp;to offer clear, accurate information and support, especially when navigating disagreements with schools or understanding their rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IN ARIZONA, THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>140,000<\/strong>&nbsp;K\u201312 students with IEPs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>16,000<\/strong>&nbsp;infants and toddlers receiving early intervention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>7,600<\/strong>&nbsp;preschoolers served under IDEA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Last year,&nbsp;Encircle Families&nbsp;supported&nbsp;11,213&nbsp;families and responded to over&nbsp;20,000&nbsp;calls, emails, and texts,<\/strong>&nbsp;helping families make informed decisions and advocate for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If Parent Centers were to rely on state funding, through a block grant, it could&nbsp;<strong>blur the lines of the neutral support<\/strong>&nbsp;that families&nbsp;have come to trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our federal funding ensures that we remain a separate, collaborative partner, able to support families while maintaining strong relationships with schools and state agencies alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PLEASE URGE CONGRESS TO PROTECT DEDICATED IDEA PART D FUNDING FOR PARENT CENTERS<\/strong><br>This funding is&nbsp;<strong>critical&nbsp;<\/strong>to keeping families informed, empowered, and
