En esta edici\u00f3n de <em>Connecting<\/em>, comenzamos con un enfoque especial en Tasha Peters, una de nuestros 36 empleados, quien comparte su pasi\u00f3n por servir a las familias en nuestro programa de Entrenamiento Familiar Positivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quiero extender mis m\u00e1s sinceras felicitaciones a Leah Gibbs por su merecida jubilaci\u00f3n del Departamento de Discapacidades del Desarrollo despu\u00e9s de 25 a\u00f1os de servicio dedicado. El compromiso inquebrantable de Leah con las familias y los ni\u00f1os dejar\u00e1 un legado que nos inspirar\u00e1 durante a\u00f1os. Gracias, Leah, por tu pasi\u00f3n, liderazgo y cuidado infinito hacia las familias de Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estamos profundamente agradecidos con el Dr. Veenod Chulani de Phoenix Children\u2019s, la Dra. Vicki Copeland del Departamento de Discapacidades del Desarrollo, y los padres Aimee Patton y Susie Turrey por sus contribuciones al enfoque de este trimestre sobre la transici\u00f3n de proveedores de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica pedi\u00e1trica a proveedores de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica para adultos. Este es un tema tan importante y desafiante para muchas familias, y su experiencia y vivencias personales, sin duda, proporcionar\u00e1n orientaci\u00f3n y \u00e1nimo a quienes navegan por estos cambios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2025, esperamos continuar nuestro trabajo dedicado a la misi\u00f3n de apoyo familiar y a una renovaci\u00f3n completa de la imagen de la organizaci\u00f3n. Aunque podamos lucir un poco diferentes y tal vez tengamos un nuevo nombre, la misi\u00f3n de apoyo familiar sigue siendo la misma: elevar y apoyar a los padres de ni\u00f1os con discapacidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gracias por ser parte de la comunidad de Raising Special Kids y por su compromiso con el apoyo a familias y ni\u00f1os con discapacidades.
